Hello all,
Thanks for being a subscriber to the Magic Nexus newsletter!
This newsletter took a little longer to send, as I have added a new service to the Magic Nexus! I had to add software and two new videos on the site, which took me longer than I had anticipated.
On to the announcement: I am now teaching private online magic lessons! Private magic lessons were a huge part of my magical development, so it is most appropriate for me to offer them to you!
Unlike a lecture or webinar, in a private online lesson, you, and your questions, are the focus. You get my full attention and full access to my expertise. You get to ask about whatever interests you, and if I have the prerogative to teach it, I will. Of course, this includes my own moves, sleights and routines, and any published items that I have studied. Have a question about a palm or a pass? Great! Want to learn more details about my card case load or coins across? Fantastic. The topics are up to you!
I can also watch you perform your own routines and offer up my suggestions for improvements. For example, I was able to create an improvement to Juan Tamariz' Total Coincidence. I explained my concept to Juan, and I am happy to say that he is now using my idea in his routine. Imagine having me do the same for one of your own effects!
You can book a private online lesson here. On that page, you can watch a short video that Juan made with me, as well as a demonstration of my camera setup. To take a lesson, all that is necessary is an internet connection, and video software, such as FaceTime or Skype. Have a look at the page, watch the videos and let me know what you think!

Since the last newsletter, there have been two new blog posts:
- Books of Wonder Review — This is a review that I wrote back when the Books of Wonder were initially released. Since the books have been recently republished, I decided to republish my original review, which expresses how important I believe Tommy's books are to magic.
- How I met Juan Tamariz — This was originally published as a cover article for the Linking Ring. It explains how I met Juan, and how he has inspired me. Rereading it brought back some delightful memories, and since I am writing s new article about Juan, I felt that this would make a nice piece to share with new readers.
That is all for now. If you have any questions, I am all ears!
Enjoy!
